When is the best time to go on the Kedarkantha Trek?

Day 4: From the Kedarkantha base camp to the Kedarkantha peak, followed by the Haragaon campaign.
From Haragaon to Sankri on Day 5. From there, you can divide up into your preferred modes of transportation to get to Dehradun.

Itinerary for the Kedarkantha Trek
Day 1: Travel from Dehradun to Sankri Base Camp by transportation services.
Early in the morning, go to Sankri hamlet, and arrive at Sankri base camp in the evening. There, you can take in the breathtaking sunset and the charm of the village. You might make alternative arrangements to make last-minute preparations for your upcoming excursion. And have a decent night’s sleep at Sankri base camp. You can get to Sankri by any method of transportation, including buses, cabs, and taxis.

Day 2: The trek begins at Sankri base camp and ends at Juda ka Talab.

You’ll be on a difficult trail for up to 5 kilometres from Sankri base camp, passing through lovely green meadows, pine and oak forests.
You’ll be taken to the Juda Ka Talab campaign from there. This was a frozen lake, as the name implies. Originally, this was a merger of two lakes, but it was eventually merged into one.
Day 3: Travel to Kedarkantha Base Camp from Juda ka Talab.

You must travel 4 kilometres from Juda Ka Talab, beginning with lush green thick pine trees and ending with messy mountain ranges that capture your attention and lead you to Kedarkantha base camp.
This was done in exchange for a lower altitude of 11,150 feet. Bandarpoonch, Swargarohini, Kala Nag, and Ranglana are some of the best places to see panoramic views and snow-capped mountains. From here, you may have a good view of the Kedarkantha journey.
Day 4: From the Kedarkantha base camp to the Kadarkantha peak, followed by the Haragaon campaign.

The Kedarkantha base camp, which is symbolised by a Trishul facing the sky, is located around 2 hours distant from the base camp. It is important to begin your hike before daybreak so that you do not miss the spectacular sunrise from the summit of Kedarkantha peak. The Gangotri, Kinnaur Kailash, and Yamunotri ranges, among others, will entice you. You’ll next be transferred to the Hargaon campsite.
From Haragaon to Sankri on Day 5. From there, you can divide up into your preferred modes of transportation to get to Dehradun.

Your trip begins in Haragaon and ends in Sankri, which takes less time as you descend. While returning to Sankri, you’ll be introduced to the har ki dun valley, which has spectacular scenic beauty.
You can return to Dehradun via several kinds of transportation once you get to Sankri. Buses are only available between the hours of 5 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Sankri is a small community with limited lodging options. There are also a limited number of hotels and homestays to choose from. All are reasonably priced, and Homestays provide a more cost-effective choice while providing a true taste of Himalayan culture.
During the Kedarkantha Trek, there are a variety of food options.
Except in Sankri, finding tea establishments and various meal alternatives such as Maggie and other snacks is nearly impossible. Although the likelihood of finding food centres is questionable, packing nuts and energy drinks is advised.
